Job Description:

The Developer for the National Electronic Clearinghouse will oversee the development and management of an online platform to centralize information on stormwater control technologies. They will be responsible for creating an intuitive user experience, populating the clearinghouse with relevant content, and promoting its usage among stakeholders. Their efforts will contribute to improving access to stormwater management resources and fostering collaboration in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Development: Design and develop a user-friendly electronic platform for the national electronic clearinghouse to centralize information on stormwater control infrastructure technologies.

  • Content Population: Populate the clearinghouse with research findings, technical resources, best practices, and outreach materials sourced from regional Centers of Excellence and other relevant sources.

  • Promotion and Outreach: Implement a comprehensive outreach strategy to promote awareness of the clearinghouse among stakeholders and facilitate its usage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in web development languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
  • Experience in developing and managing online databases or information repositories.
  • Strong communication and marketing skills to promote the clearinghouse effectively.
