Youth Engagement Coordinator

Job Description (Fully Remotely):

The Youth Engagement Coordinator will oversee the implementation of a community activism and engagement project targeting youths aged 15-25 in urban and rural areas of Albania. Responsibilities include coordinating workshops, facilitating discussions, guiding project development, and mentoring participants. The coordinator will work closely with project partners, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure the program’s success.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate workshops, community assessments, and project development activities.
  • Facilitate discussions and mentorship sessions to empower participants and foster leadership skills.
  • Collaborate with project partners, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure program objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress, track outcomes, and evaluate the effectiveness of program activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to participants in designing and implementing community projects.
  • Organize networking events and forums to connect participants with relevant resources and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and communicate program updates to stakeholders.
  • Adhere to project timelines, budget constraints, and reporting requirements.
  • Uphold ethical standards and promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for program improvement and innovation to enhance impact and sustainability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, community development, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in youth engagement, community activism, or similar roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of young people.
  • Knowledge of democratic processes, civic education, and community organizing principles.
  • Proven organizational and project management abilities, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
